NAFA 2025, Skopje
This year’s 3-day festival will be held in Skjope, North Macedonia’s capital and largest city. We will get together at the Museum of Macedonia from 8th to 10th October.
The National Museum of History and Ethnology is located in the Old Bazaar part of town, also known as the Muslim quarter, where there are many nice and cheap cafes and restaurants. There are also plenty of inexpensive hotels and apartments not far from the venue.

We will be gathering for dinners at Mal Altan, a restaurant located at Crvena Skopska Opstina, Skopje 1000.
Kratfest, Kratovo
Though NAFA 2025 will end in Skopje on Friday 10th October, we have deliberately co-ordinated our festival with another wonderful festival, Krateft, in the town of Kratovo. (12th-14th October).
On Saturday 11th October, our wish is that as many NAFA attendees as would like, join us to travel a couple of hours to Kratovo.
It is possible to get to Kratovo by bus or taxi from Skjope or Kumanovo, or alternatively to rent a car at Skopje airport.
